Raiffeisenlandesbank Oberösterreich Campus Linz
Construction has started on the new Raiffeisenlandesbank Oberösterreich Headquarters in Linz, designed by HENN with interior design by Innocad, SODA and HofmanDujardin. Positioned between the existing RLB campus and the iconic Blumau Tower, the project is envisioned as a highly urban mixed-use banking campus that combines flexible office environments with vibrant communal spaces and generous green rooftop landscapes. The approximately 25.000m² building is designed for 1000 employees and places human interaction at the center of the experience.

A spacious central atrium connects people, functions and destinations throughout the building. Inviting communal stairs spiral upwards from the main entrance towards the rooftop terraces, creating visual connections across all floors. Each atrium platform introduces a unique atmosphere and program focused on collaboration, wellbeing and exchange. Inspired by the culture, landscapes and industrial heritage of Linz, the interior design combines organic forms, greenery and water elements with refined, high-tech materials and detailing.
'The high sustainability ambitions are reflected in an employee-focused interior that promotes wellbeing, connection and a strong relationship with nature.'
Barbara Dujardin | Partner architect

Hospitality
From the ground floor entrance, generous communal stairs with integrated greenery lead towards the vibrant central community space surrounding the plaza bar on the first floor. Positioned at the heart of the building, the multifunctional bar creates an inviting atmosphere for employees, visitors and clients throughout the day. The space supports informal meetings, breaks and social interaction, while also functioning as a welcoming setting for large auditorium events and formal gatherings. Warm materials, open sightlines and integrated planting create a lively and connected environment. The defining feature of the plaza bar is the expressive coloured metal chandelier, inspired by the industrial heritage of Linz and referring to the region’s strong metal and manufacturing industry.
Indoor garden
As part of the continuous employee journey throughout the building, a lush indoor garden is positioned in the south-east corner of the third floor. Designed as a calm and restorative environment, the space combines intimate workplaces with informal meeting areas immersed within rich greenery and generous planters. Large wall-integrated planting systems strengthen the connection to nature and create a healthy, welcoming atmosphere for focused work and informal interaction. Soft daylight, natural materials and layered vegetation contribute to the sensory experience of the space. To enhance the grounded and tranquil character, organic-shaped acoustic fabrics are suspended along the high ceilings, creating softness, comfort and spatial intimacy.
